Since Chapter 1 is all about the history of performance improvement, our first case study is to choose one of the individuals we read about in Chapter 1 and do some research on them. The definition of a case study is “a process or record of research in which detailed consideration is given to the development of a particular person, group, or situation over a period of time.”
Your assignment is to identify the individual, and then to try and establish a 5 yr. timeline on them to see what they did in healthcare to influence what we do today.
