this is a lab report and you will have to look to attachment 1 to see the table this table have broke down what you need to do in the lab report and how to write it. all the information need to be from the videos and what I provide you can’t use any information from outside.
when you start with {Aim} you would need to write what’s the What are the key points of the video(s) pertaining to the experiment (determine which technique is better)? from the video that I would provide you.
and the Introduction and theory behind the experiment you would need to write: Provide a brief description (not more than 300 words) of the theoretical background of distillation and its uses. Be sure to include information on both simple and fractional distillations as well as a comparison of the two in relation to the experimental setup. What is the purpose of a condenser? What sort of compounds/mixtures can be separated via distillation?.
and Table of Physical Properties and Hazards you don’t need to do it.
and Procedure and Observations you would need to write in details step by step of what the person in the video who’s doing the experiment is doing. and Draw the apparatus for both simple and fractional distillation. Clearly show where exactly the thermometer bulb should be placed, show water in and out of the condenser and the direction in which the water flows. Label the various parts of the assembly. (Do not copy/paste the images for the setup from a website or other source). Exactly describe how each distillation was performed and what was observed, you can compare the two assemblies and proceed with the description. Be sure to mention when to begin recording data and when the distillation is to be ended. How are the data collected during the distillations processed and analyzed?
and when you get to the Result the result section you will use attachment 2 the data is in attachment 2 you need to make Table and graph of the data for both the simple and fractional distillations.
and the conclusions:Summarizing in 100 words or less, what was achieved and the overall outcome. What were some of the safety concerns that arose?
and for the References to physical properties and hazards of the compounds used in this experiment. you would cite the videos
attachment three is extra information if you would need to use it for the Introduction and theory behind the experiment
