Choose one of the following topics that you would like to explore as you reflect on your own experiences with motivation:
- Vroom’s Expectancy Theory
- Bandura’s Self-Efficacy Theory
- Adam’s Equity Theory
- Locke and Latham’s Goal Setting Theory
In 1-2 paragraphs, briefly identify your theory and explain in your own words the relevant elements of the theory, being careful to correctly explain specific concepts from the theory and to cite the sources of your information, including our text. No quotes or paraphrases are permitted.
Then, in 1-2 pages, describe how and why those specific theoretical concepts have been illustrated in your own experiences AND the ways you can apply those theoretical principles to increase your effectiveness in reaching your goals.
Cite your source(s) (additional research beyond our course readings is permitted, but not required), and include an APA references page. Remember, even though direct quotes will not be used, all sources of information and ideas must be cited everywhere they are used in the paper.
Please review Academic Integrity Policy and APA Guidelines and note that failure to cite sources of information or the use of quotes or paraphrases without indication that the words are not yours are examples of plagiarism and will result in a grade of zero for the paper.
