Start Assignment
Leading into your final Argument Presentation, you must locate some outside sources that will support your argument and one that presents an objection or disagreement. In Week 5, you started formalizing your own position on your chosen topic and mapped out the basic argument as you currently see it. Now we dive into looking at reliable evidence that could support, reshape, or change your argument, depending on what you find.
You must use at least three sources in your final presentation (none more than five years old) and cite them correctly. So, this is the start of that work.
To succeed in filling out the worksheet, you will need to attempt
1. A full reference for each source in APA style.
2. A 5-sentence (minimum) summary of each source that shows you have read the source critically. NO QUOTES. You must put the summary in your own words.
3. One sentence (minimum) describing how the source will be used in your argument and why (be specific).

You have your position. You have an idea about your argument and evidence. You understand the opposition and the importance of refutation.
Now let’s try to map your argument to one of the two forms: the Classical or the Rogerian. You will want to use one of them in your presentation, and this exercise will provide you with a draft version.
