Examine how identity is reflected in communication and how communication and identity are performed with others. Compare a text or email conversation between you and a peer and one between you and an older relative or friend (parent, mentor, grandparent etc.). What can you detect about identities being communicated in the conversations? This will likely include age but should move beyond just age differences. Draw an overall conclusion from your comparison and use this as the focus of your essay.
