QUESTION 1

Within many organizations ethical dilemmas have and continue to arise (Carroll et al., 2017). You may even have experienced ethical issues in your workplace. However, so as not to allow your feelings to influence this response, you are asked to research and find an article about a company located in the United States that has been accused of, admitted to, or been found guilty of violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by offering a bribe. Ensure to discuss the circumstances leading to the accusation, admission, and/or guilt. Offer detailed, evidence based suggestions of how you would advise the organization in order to regain a positive reputation after this ordeal. Make your suggestions from first, a utilitarian perspective and second, from a virtue ethics perspective. Defend each element of your response with evidence based support (citations) throughout your paragraphs. Your response should be substantive with detail in length of between 6-8 pages not including cover or references pages. In addition to the article about the chosen organization, a minimum of 6 peer reviewed sources (journal articles within the past 5 years / authored books by seminal or master business ethics theorists) should be used to support your response.
