Managing Team Conflict

Learning Activity #1

While conflicts are a common aspect of working together and can even be beneficial to a team, they can also negatively affect team performance. Name a team whose team performance was negatively impacted by conflict or a team member’s dysfunction. Also, include how the team was negatively impacted. (Do not use your team within this course.)

Learning Activity #2

In earlier teams you’ve worked on, what did you do that you felt made an impact on the team’s performance? Was your team diverse and how did this affect the team, project, or outcome? What were your ideas for addressing conflict and/or challenges?
