1. Research a specific infectious outbreak in history. This would be an outbreak that would be defined as an epidemic or pandemic. Research means that you need to put citations using APA format 7 to show where you obtained your information.
2. Put the name of your chosen infection in the subject line! Do not name this as Module 1 Discussion post!
3. The first paragraph should contain your chosen disease name, the infectious agent that causes it, mode of transmission, signs and symptoms, and treatment if available.
4. After considering your research, explain the impact of infection rates in health care environments and who or what you think is the culprit. This is the most overlooked part of this assignment. There will be an automatic 2 point deduction if you do not do this step.
