Get a cracker (or similar type piece of food). Go to a quiet place and sit down and take a small bite. Think about all the people who plowed the field, planted the seed watered the plants, etc. Take another bite and think of the farmer’s family members. Take another bite and this time think about all the people who participated in harvesting the grains used make the cracker, the combine operator, the truck driver the people at the silo where the grain was stored. Now take another bite and think about the people who ran the train that delivered the grain from the silo to the manufacturing plant, the train engineer, brakeman, the controllers in the various stations that helped get the train safely to the manufacturing plant. Now take another bite and think about all the people at the manufacturing plant, the people who offloaded the grain, the people who watched over the assembly line the bakers and people in the front office who took orders the custodians who clean the plant, etc. Now take another bit and thing of the truck driver and his company that brought the cracker to the store. Now take another bite and think of all the people in the store that had something to do with getting the cracker to you, the store manager, the handlers, the clerk and box person, etc. Now realize how many people contributed to your being satisfied by this cracker.
Write a couple of paragraphs describing your feelings as you ate the cracker.
