The second report will be on one of the debates occurring in the course.
Note: you must write a report on a debate DIFFERENT from the one you participated in.
Your report should have 800-1000 words. It should be diagnostic in nature and you should describe the debate as you see it. this is the link for others’ debate: https://ufl.zoom.us/rec/share/K8FQSgff1GrV-lx3Sm1MUb7tkPalb4MD8nBfnV_6ESUJAP35VJ9eT9ECePwEyliT.78YMYvJe8qNRf073In particular you should describe how and why debates like the one you witnessed go awry.
You also must devise a recommendation or intervention describing how the intellectual disagreement you observed could have gone differently. If the disagreement you observed went awry, then your recommendation should describe what participants in the disagreements could have done differently in order to prevent that from happening. If the debate goes as expected (i.e., well), then your recommendation should identify ways in which one could plausibly see it going awry and what were the key moves the participants in the disagreement made that prevented it from going awry.
Your report must include:
Abstract
Introduction
Main body
Recommendations (i.e., intervention) and/or reflections
Reports must be typed, double-spaced with one-inch margins, 12 pt Times New Roman. You must include a word-count at the top of your first page. Do NOT include your name on the report
