In this project, you will demonstrate how to use a statistic from a sample to verify an assumption about the population. Here are the steps you will take through this project, in sequential order.
Decide which type of hypothesis test you want to do:
1 sample mean.
1 sample proportion.
Select the appropriate topic and data set provided by your instructor.
Sample at least 30 records from the data set using the one of the following four techniques covered this semester: simple random sampling, systematic sampling, cluster sampling, or stratified sampling.
Verify your sample satisfies the Central Limit Theorem.
Perform the appropriate statistical calculations for your data.
Create a confidence interval for your sample.
Create an inference model using hypothesis testing, including a conclusion.
