The accreditation, according to Anthony M. Lombardi, president and chief executive officer of Monongahela Valley Hospital, reflects “our ongoing efforts to provide quality health care services.”

Commenting on the significance of the Joint Commission accreditation, Lombardi said,” First and foremost, the willingness to be evaluated voluntarily by this nationally recognized professional organization reflects the hospital’s commitment to excellence in the provision of patient care services.”
