Discussion2

Is something being lost when we break music down into bytes and analyze it? What about computers and creativity? Is what they compose music? And that leads us to ask what is music then?  In your learning resources this week, you will read about Miles Davis, the music of nature, and the triumph of the cyborg computer, and you will learn about the music/technology nexus in light of culture.

For your discussion this week, you will choose the remaining question from your list and answer it in regard to music and technology. In so doing you have asked all of the questions you will use in your final project and are now familiar with what the answers can look like in regard to other cultural elements.
