Part 3: Final Paper for One Small Thing Semester Project (75 points total)
For the last assignment you will write a short paper (minimum of 3 typed pages, 12 point font, double spaced, one inch margins) presenting the following information on the product that you gave up. (PAPER TOWELS)
1. (45 points) You will need to present the life cycle of your product including all of the following
a. Extraction/production of raw materials
b. Production/manufacture of product
c. Packaging/transport of product
d. Use and disposal of product
e. The environmental impacts of the product’s life cycle along the way
using credible Internet sources (not Wikipedia) as well as articles from research journals, i.e. The International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment.
(15 points ) You will need to use at least three sources for this information. One of your sources must be a book or research article. These sources must be listed in a Works cited section using APA/MLA format. Cited websites must be accompanied by the full weblink. You must also use proper paraphrasing (minimal use of large direct quotes from sources) and in-text citation methods.

2. (15 points) In the last part you were asked to stop using paper towels and switch to eco friendly alternatives. Discuss how easy or difficult it was to change your usage of your product and an evaluation of the effectiveness of the alternative you implemented. How often did you forget and use your product during the 45 days? Based on your research, what kind of impact did you make in changing your use from the beginning of the semester to now?
