Apply Marxs concept of alienation to reflect on your own work experiences, or, alternately, on experiences in a particular occupation that you know about (or are interested in). Feel free to do some research (say, on the internet) to explore working conditions in the relevant industry or region. The paper will thus have the following two dimensions: 1) an accurate and clear summary of Marxs theory of alienation to illustrate all of the different types of alienation and; 2) application of these theories/concepts to analyze practical life experiences. These components need not be presented as separate sections, and may be (preferably) presented in an integrated manner but without compromising on clarity.
