- Your argumentative essay should be a minimum of 1500 words. For this reason, your outline may exceed one page. However, it still needs to take the form of an outline.
- I understand that you’ve probably never written as essay that is this long before. Please manage your time wisely! Get started early, and make an appointment to come visit me in the writing center if you need extra help. If you can’t make it to the writing center, you can upload a rough draft of your assignment to NetTutor, an online writing center that you have access to as a Hindscc student.
- You may use both short phrases and complete sentences to create your outline. Please keep in mind that your outline should not include complete paragraphs.
- Write Thesis: in front of your thesis. Be sure to revise it first, based on your peers comments on the discussion board and any feedback you receive from me. Please remember that your thesis should be the last sentence of your introductory paragraph.
