Explaining natural Selection

For the following statements, discuss whether each is correct or not. What about it is or isnt right? How would you say it more correctly or more clearly?

Natural selection is deceptively simple. The three truths about the natural world that ensure natural selection is always happening are new to most students and can be hard to explain unless you really understand what is happening. And the language to explain these ideas needs to be precise. So, this is also an exercise in using class vocabulary correctly. Word choice matters a lot one word can change the meaning of a sentence!

1. Natural selection is a process that eventually causes evolution.
2.These traits can be passed down to offspring to help ensure survival of their population.
3.Natural selection begins with how individuals in a certain species evolve in a particular environment.
