My assignment is on the slave narrative published in 1852 Uncle Toms Cabin, and how the film adaptations of the novel have affected the portrayal of African Americans in the slave narratives. This paper should reference the book and at least 2-3 different film adaptations, as well as compare it against 12 years a slave, another slave narrative to have been adapted into a film.
