Group Proposal Paper: Final Assignment Instructions
Overview
The purpose of this Group Proposal Paper: Final Assignment is to give you hands-on experience in planning a support, psycho-educational, or treatment type of addiction group. Examples of support/psycho-educational groups include drug education groups, substance use prevention, and alcohol and drug education traffic school groups. Examples of treatment groups would include an intensive outpatient group, relapse prevention aftercare group, etc. (For more information on psychoeducational groups, see the Gladding text). 
Instructions
The Group Proposal Paper: Final Assignment must be written in current APA format and be 1014 pages, not including the title page, abstract and references.
Sources must include the Gladding text, Wagner and Ingersoll text, and at least 1 scholarly, peer-reviewed journal article published within the last five years.
The Group Proposal Paper Template must be used and all headings in the template must be utilized. The template provides details for each area of the paper including Theory, Session Outlines, Screening and Problem Solving.
Session Outlines in the template must be completed in the format provided. If you use questions, exercises or assigned homework, etc. from an outside source, you must cite the source or it is considered plagiarism.
Save your Group Proposal Paper: Final Assignment as a Microsoft Word document, under your name and assignment title, (Example: Doe_J_Group_Proposal_Project).
