Cost, quality, and access are interrelated in the healthcare system. A change to one of these three areas impacts the others. In this 3-5 page paper, students will analyze how these three areas connect and overlap. Students must include a connection to HIT, and how a healthcare organization utilizes HIT data to make decisions that affect cost, quality, and access. APA formatting and a minimum number of five professional references required. References should be less than five years old in order to reflect current information.
