Discuss the issues that public health researchers and practitioners may encounter when trying to implement the PPM in a community experiencing the specific health disparity you have chosen for your final paper:
- Discuss how you will engage the community and garner support and trust for conducting research to first identify the main quality-of-life issues related to the health disparity (the social diagnosis) and for conducting the epidemiological, behavioral, and environmental diagnoses.
- Reflect on the behavioral and environmental factors underlying the disparity.
- List as many differences in approaches that influenced the determination of described case study’s outcomes. Pay particular attention to how and when community involvement did or did not occur and how the authors identified the health issue (epidemiological [epi] diagnosis) and the underlying behavioral and environmental factors (behavioral and environmental diagnoses).
- Discuss your findings.
- Explain how you would attempt to implement Phase 3 (educational and ecological assessments).
