I have suggested the following series of episodes to watch and respond to: the Halloween Heists and the Pontiac Bandit saga. Each of these series of episodes tells their story once every season of the show, and watching them sequentially will allow you to see how the characters grow (and in some cases, advance the continuity of the entire show). please watch one (or both) series of episodes and write a paper no longer than three (3) double-spaced pages, 12-point font (Times New Roman or Arial) with 1” margins. If you choose to do both series of episodes, please write them up in separate documents. Each paper will answer the following questions:
- Which series of episodes did you choose?
- How have the characters grown throughout these episodes?
- How did the show weave interpersonal relationships with policework?
- (For Halloween Heists) Whose strategy to win was the cleverest (excluding “HalloVeen”)?
- (For Pontiac Bandit) How does this saga represent an allegory of “The Scorpion and the Frog?”
All episodes can be found on the Peacock streaming service. Because I cannot require you to pay money to earn credit, if you are not already a subscriber, I encourage you to find someone who can give you access to their account. Any money you spend to access these episodes should be of your volition. You can find the episodes below! NINE-NINE!
