Airbnb
Airbnb has become one of my go to apps whenever I get to travel. The app is really easy to use and, it does have great rates compare to local hotels. When traveling, at least myself I like to experience the local areas, not just the tourist spots, Airbnb has made it even more possible for this to happen. It’s the easiest most convenient way to book a local house/apt in most areas, not limiting you to only hotels. Other uses for the app include, but no limited to, people renting properties around areas where they hope to move into as trials to make better decisions, renting temporary offices spaces while remodeling their own work spaces, looking for comfortable places to stay, while being driving distance from desire places will like to tour, etc..
In 2021, travel will continue to be less about tourism and more about living, working and connecting safely away from home. Airbnb is ideally suited to meet these changing needs, whether providing an entire home to take a break from the city, to reconnect with loved ones or to try out a new neighborhood to move to. And its platform allows anyone with space to share to tap into these trends and earn some extra needed income. In 2021, work from home could become work from any home as remote working continues to be a reality for many people. In the survey commissioned by Airbnb.
As corona virus persist, domestic traveling has continued to be a trend in 2021. Sixty-two percent of people are more willing to take a vacation withing driving distance of home. Paris, London and Rome are no longer top destinations. National parks, winter ski and beach towns slowly became more popular since September 2020.
