In the past, to become an LPC in the state of MS, you had to earn a 60 hour Master’s degree in Counseling, earn 3,500 hours of which 100 are supervised, and pass the NCE and/or NCMHCE. You could also use the hours earned during your internship. Please read the new changes under statutes and rules at the Link, then describe the process of becoming a P-LPC and an LPC in MS.
