Provide a reflection about the video you watched (up to 1 point), 1 thing you found surprising or interesting from the video (up to 1 point), explain why they were surprising/interesting (up to 1 point), and explain or give an example of why/how the experiment can be relevant to criminal justice (up to 1 point). You will also be graded on grammar/writing quality (up to 1 point). You can earn up to 5 points per reflection if you properly follow the instructions. You can complete this option multiple times, as long as you are writing about a different video each time.

Answer one of the prompts below. Submit a response that provides a clear answer to the prompt (up to 2 points) and a thoughtful explanation that integrates course-related knowledge (up to 2 points). You will also be graded on grammar/writing quality (up to 1 point). You can earn up to 5 points per reflection if you properly follow the instructions. 1) Based on what you have learned in class, should recidivistic violent offending be considered a clinical disorder? Explain your answer.
2) Based on what you have learned in class, should there be parental licensing (in other words, individuals must demonstrate parenting competence and obtain a “license” before becoming a parent)? Explain your answer.
3) Do you think the LOMBROSO program (as described in the textbook — note that this question is about the LOMBROSO program, not the Italian criminologist named Cesare Lombroso) is a good idea or not? Explain your answer.
4) Do you think the National Child Screening Program (as described in the textbook) is a good idea or not? Explain your answer.
