Reflection Paper Instructions

In this Reflection Paper, carefully consider the section Reading Like a New Historicist.  Your job in this reflection is to choose one of the stories or poems from this unit and interpret the poem as if you were a New Historical critic. In order to be a New Historical critic for this assignment you’ll have to do research like a New Historical critic.  Be sure to follow the CRAP guidelines when searching for sources.  You may use the web or a BC Library database to find two to three sources that you will use in your reflection.

It may be helpful to look up the definitions of difficult or obscure words.  The paper needs to be 500 words and follow MLA guidelines for formatting, quoting, summarizing,  in-text citations, and works cited entries. (See Unit 4).
