The class Im currently in requires me to conduct a species synopsis. Chich is basically to just select a cultured species (In this case Japanese eels) and research general information about the species using the provided list of the topic as a guideline to write.
– A minimum of 12 pages is needed but 11 or perhaps 10 is fine too.
– 10 references must be used in some way shape or form. Ive included 10 references the instructor has approved but more can be added or changed to help with the writing. Sources must be from an academic/scientific source or from a recognized organization. Certain websites can be used too but have to be a credited website and not from a blog for example.
– Any citation format can be used (MLA, APA, Chicago style)
– Not all of the topics will be covered. For example, theres likely nothing regarding Japanese eels broodstock management or spawning because it is difficult to cultivate them in captivity (Though its possible to provide a small discussion as to why such cases do not exist)
– Also in the attachment, Ive included 2 species synopsis examples Ive also done in the past to be used as a reference to what the paper should look like.
Previously species synopsis was due at the end of the semester but this year frustratingly, it is due on March 27.
Combined with the constant assignment load from this class and others, I cannot finish this paper on my own. And so I only ask for two things:
– Please try to avoid using complex jargon or technical term that an average person would not understand. If jargon or term has to be used (Such as alternation of generation) please explain the meaning behind it. (This is likely to occur around the taxonomy and natural production portion)
– Its ok if the paper is not an A+ material since it was initially planned to be a B or even a high C paper.
And if possible, please format the paper similar to how I format the paper.
Thank you.
