Compare the role of storytelling in “Smoke Signals” to the talk-stories in Kingston’s book, The Women Warrior from the last module. What do the two works say/imply about the differences between fiction and truth? Do either of the two works make a value judgment concerning the differences between fiction and truth. Is truth always more important than fiction or does fiction sometimes trump truth?
