We have been studying writers who have created stories, poems and plays that depict a kind of disappointment and “discontent” with the current state of things. In a three page response write about
in which you need to relate to the characters, emotions or language used.
In your response, tell a personal story of a time when you were discontent with the your life. How did your choice of writing here put into words this disappointment? You must use specific examples from the material you choose (no outside sources). This means in text citations and a works cited with one item.

a person who is dissatisfied, typically with the prevailing individual, social or political situation. “the cause attracted a motley crew of discontents and zealots”
