Prepare your final paper presenting your organizational improvement initiative. The organization you chose to research and present an improvement plan for, should be one that you are very familiar with. It is recommended that this organization be where you currently work or have worked in the past so you have the knowledge of the organization. The potential goal is for this improvement initiative to be something worthy to be presented to your organization’s leadership for the possibility of your recommendations being accepted and implemented.
Before completing this assignment, please read the requirements for the Final Project (located in Module 8 for this course). This will be one of the milestones for you in completing this final assignment.
This assignment will help you identify what organization and improvement area you will select for your final project. Submit a short 1-2 pages identifying the organization, what their main mission and goals are, and what specifically is not working as effectively as it could that you would like to research further for an improvement plan. This week’s Milestone should not identify the improvement initiative yet, but be thinking about this for your literature review and final paper.
Preferably you will want to select an organization that you are working for or have worked for in the past so you are very familiar with the business processes. The goal is that what you work on in this class could be potentially presented to your organization’s management to help them continue to improve and for you to showcase what you have worked on in your MBA program.
This paper should be formatted using APA 7th (7th ed.), and should include a title page, one or two pages of content, and a reference page (specifically to include where you gathered information about the organization or their processes, and any other resources you brought into this short paper). At least two references will be required
