Problem scenario:

Your employees are located across the globe working in offices and from home. How will you gauge employee engagement with a survey?

Use this scenario as your case study to formulate questions for a make believe employee engagement survey.

Your assignment

  1. Answer the questions found on page 69 in Marr: (4 points)

●      What data do we need to meet our information needs?

●      Have we got the data in the right format?

●      If we have not got the data in the right format, what is the best way to obtain that data?

Task 1:

Focus on quantitative data and the use of structured questions that incorporate mainly closed questions such as “Are customers/users satisfied with X?”

Use the Likert scale

Ex: Scale of 1 (very dissatisfied) and 5 (very satisfied)

2.     Use the Requirements for a good questionnaire checklist in Marr book on page 75 to create questions for your survey. (4 points)

a.     Show the items on the checklist and how they connect to your questions

You can only create up to 10 questions using the free option (4 points)

  1. Determine how you will plan to assign meaning to the data once it has been collected. Be sure to address the following in your response: (6 points)
