During Week 1, we will explore the meaning of health and health policy as well as how health policy directly impacts the determinants of health. We will also spend time exploring the context of health policy making and regulation at various levels: federal, state, and local. We will close out our first week by learning about the interplay between demanders and suppliers in policy markets.
