For Milestone One, you will create a draft of your introduction for your health information exchange plan. Your introduction will summarize the scenario in the case study, describe the appropriate HIE model for the organization in the case study, and determine what information should be exchanged between organizations. Lastly, you will consider how you will extract data from the HIE and how you will use the data to improve patient outcomes.

Overview: 

In the final project for this course, you will be tasked with developing a health information exchange plan. Throughout this course, you will work to fine-tune your project design so that it can be implemented later in your capstone course.
