Communicating with families on the purpose and learning benefits of using technology in an early childhood setting is necessary even in this high-tech era. In this assignment, you will create a communication piece for families about the benefits of technology use in early childhood.

- Select one interest, center, or activity area.
- Dramatic Play, Library, Art, Math, Blocks, Science, Outdoors
- Select one age group.
- Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, Kindergarten, Young School-age
- Select one technology device or piece of equipment.
- Select one interest, center, or activity area.
- Part Two
- Create a one-page information flyer for families focusing on your selected center/activity area, age group, and technology device.
- Be sure to include the following in your information flyer:
- Developmentally appropriate practices for the device.
- Active and passive use of the device.
- Focused Multiple Intelligence for the selected age group.
- Learning benefits and equity building.
- Overall benefits to early childhood education.
- Information flyer should be visually appealing and creative.
- Use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Part Three
- Include one resource for families and any references in APA format.
