Musical Instrument-Informative speech

Chapter 5 deals with how to choose a topic! You need to brainstorm and come up with 3 different topics for your Informative Speech Presentation. This class will be doing a Category on Musical Instruments.  Choose 3 different INSTRUMENTS as the 3 seperate topics to complete this assignment. ONE of THESE THREE TOPICS will be your topic for your INFORMATIVE SPEECH PRESENTATION. No Other Topics are allowed for the Informative Speech Recording assignment. Please submit the following:
NUMBER EACH ITEM UNDER THE TOPIC! This is not an essay submission.
Topic # 1:
1. Explain how Topic #1 links/applies to the immediate audience with a stated SOURCE! Document SOURCE and explain how it says the topic is relevant to the audience. For example: According to the May 12, 2019 issue of World Music, the USA manufactures over 10,000 guitars each year.  Use the Source you find to provide the significance of the topic to the audience,
2. Explain why you like this topic.
3. Break Topic #1 in to three main points and list them. Example: If my topic was the Guitar, I would explain the History of the Guitar, Who invented the Guitar, and what are the different types of Guitars. ANOTHER Example: If my topic was the Flute, I could explain Who invented the Flute, What are the different types of Flutes, and What type of music finds the most Flute orchestrations.
4. For each topic, write a thesis sentence/central idea which includes all 3 main points. A THESIS SENTENCE is one sentence only, contains the 3 main points, and you don’t use the word “I” instead use the word “we” to include your audience.  EXAMPLE: Today, we will uncover the history of the Guitar, determine who discovered it, and reveal the various varieties. ANOTHER EXAMPLE: Today, we will look at who invented the Flute, explain how it is played, , and uncover the different types.

Do the exact same thing with TWO additional seperate topics. NUMBER the items under the Topics!
You are to only INFORM, share knowledge about something.  DO NOT ENCOURAGE A COURSE OF ACTION! DO NOT ENCOURAGE US To PLAY the Instrument.  That is PERSUASION and we are not doing it yet. You are to only INFORM!!

Examples of INSTRUMENTS: Clarinet, Marimba, Saxophone, Violin, etc.
Topics must be an INSTRUMENT topic or you receive no credit for the assignment! ONE of these THREE Topics will be your topic for the Informative Speech assignment.
