Narrative Essay
MY Topic: Overcoming stage fright to deliver a public speech
Purpose: To explore the various techniques and strategies that have personally helped me overcome performance anxiety.
Thesis: Drawing from my own struggles with stage fright, I used various techniques and strategies that have personally helped me overcome performance anxiety, such as the effectiveness of mindfulness, positive self-talk, and seeking support from mentors in managing and conquering the challenges of stage fright.
This is the teacher’s feedback: be sure that your focus is on telling a story – a sequence of events from your life – and not just coping mechanisms to fight stage fright – keep the focus on the narrative
