Writing Assignment
Purpose: to inform
Method of Development: Narration
Topic: Create a narrative that takes the reader through your ‘happiest’ day (so far). Be careful how much detail you include concerning the timeline. If you are narrating your wedding day, a paragraph on getting ready is enough. You don’t want to detail getting up, brushing your teeth, having breakfast, and all of those little details. Likewise, if you are sharing a birth story, avoid starting a month prior. Instead, focus on the day itself and end with your reaction to seeing that precious bundle for the first time.
Reminders
- Brainstorm for topics.
- Organize your ideas.
- Do not use second person point of view or dialogue.
Important: Your paper will be checked for plagiarism using SafeAssign or similar third parties to review and evaluate for originality and intellectual integrity. Plagiarized papers, whether intentional or simply due to ignorance, will receive a total grade of zero. Read the following information on plagiarism.
