Due Date: 4/27/21
Deliverable Length: 1,260 words without including the words in the title and reference pages
You have just assumed the role of an adult learning program manager in your organization (a large corporation, business, college/university, nonprofit organization, or a government agency). In your new role, you have been tasked by your supervisor to plan a learning event for a specific audience in your organization. Because of the diverse composition of the audience, the learning event can be developed for individual self-study or for a traditional classroom.
This learning event is a competency-based requirement based upon compliance to federal regulations. Make sure your topic for this event has federal regulations that must be taught before designing the event.
Develop a paper on how to plan a learning event for 1 of the following venues:
- A tailored individualized program
- An event using vendor-prepared materials
- A large group course
- A field shop or office
- A laboratory situation
Regardless of the organization in which you work, the human performance technology (HPT) model is applicable to planning any type of learning event. Therefore, ensure your paper includes the following components:
- Describe your organization.
- Identify the need for a learning event in your organization including the federal regulations that need to be met.
- Describe the current state of performance and the desired stated of performance.
- Determine the cause of the performance/knowledge gap.
- Develop at least 3 terminal learning objectives based on the different levels of Blooms taxonomy and the performance/knowledge gap. Write the objectives in ABCD format.
- Analyze the requirements and material required to bridge the performance/knowledge gap.
- Propose a training intervention solution.
- Describe the method used to deliver the training intervention.
