Evidence-based practice (EBP) collects, processes, and implements research findings to improve clinical trials and patient outcomes (DeNisco & Barker, 2016). The goal of EBP is to promote effective nursing practice, efficient care, and improved outcomes for patients. Nurse educators play a crucial role in creating opportunities for implementing EBP and facilitating the implementation process (Mthiyane & Habedi,2018). An essential function for nursing education is EBP teaching and learning, which is based on research that helps to stimulate student’s critical thinking. Adequate training in EBP is required for nurse educators to adopt EBP to support their teaching practices and include evidence-based practice into their programs. Integrating EBP into the nursing curricula is critical because it ensures that student nurses receive high-quality nursing education and acquired knowledge and skills

A collaborative learning strategy would be the most effective for nurses, whereby they learn and discuss in groups. I discussed infection prevention and control in the topic three assignment. Using a collaborative learning strategy, the students would engage each other by discussing the importance of infection prevention and control in the health care environment. Understand the chain of infection, mode of transmission, and discuss efforts designed to minimize the risk of occupational exposures to infectious diseases. Group discussion, case studies, group presentations, assignments, and demonstrations are teaching strategies used for teaching and learning. Collaborative learning strategies build trust and promote open communication among students.
