One-Pager Instructions
Directions: On a blank sheet of paper, create a one-page reflection that summarizes your readings/content for the week. Use these guidelines to help keep you on topic, but feel free to add content and reflections as you see fit:
Create a page border that represents the main theme of your readings this week using pictures, symbols, or words.
Everything must relate to the topic or theme (differentiation, multiple intelligences, 21st century learner, etc.)
Write a multiple choice test question for a concept in the reading for this week.
Define the three ways or methods that a teacher can differentiate instruction and give an example of each (Content, Process, Product).
Make a T chart. On one side write down all the potential benefits for students of differentiating instruction in the classroom. On the other side write down potential barriers, challenges, or concerns that you would have as a teacher of ____________.
Research and briefly describe three strategies or ideas that you can use to differentiate instruction in your future classroom (Hint: use strategies in your readings as a start).
Create a picture, diagram, chart, and/or other visual representation that depicts what differentiation looks like in a classroom (use module readings as a guide).
Write a 1-2 sentence reflection on why differentiation is important and how you can best adapt as a teacher to meet the needs of your students.
Be creative, colorful, and neat! Scan or upload your one-pager to Canvas as an attachment.
