The essay is on a specific book – “Why Religion Matters”, by Huston Smith.
It should be a combination between, on one hand – a summary of the main ideas and the arguments that support them, and on the other hand – a philosophical analysis of said arguments, their value and faults.
I would appreciate it if the concepts that are identified in the book could be correlated with other relevant works and a comparison could be made.
Theoretical background is required, at least in order to present the notions/cultural paradigms that are outlined/referred to in the book and to sufficiently explain them.
The paper doesn’t need to be overly complicated, but it should be coherent and it should be written in good grammar. Please avoid vague phrasings and truisms. Preferably expand the phrasing beyond 10 words/sentence. Thank you
