Purpose:
To assess your understanding of three motivational theories covered in Chapter 5, specifically,
1. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs,
2. Hertzberg’s Two-Factor Theory
and 3. Expectancy Theory.
Assignment-
Compare the three motivational theories mentioned above and explain which one in your opinion would be the best one to be applied to a training situation in the workplace.
Deliverable:
• Submit your written paper, minimum 4 pages (including title and reference page) via the assignment portal on Moodle, on the due date (see Moodle)
o Page 1 – Title page which includes your name, student number and title of the assignment.
o Page 2 & 3 – Answering the assignment.
o Page 4 – reference page
• APA format o All text should be double-spaced.
o Use one-inch margins on all sides.
o All paragraphs in the body are indented.
o Make sure that the title is centered on page 1 with your name, student ID and course information underneath.
o Use 12-point font throughout.
o All pages should be numbered in the upper right-hand corner.
