OVERVIEW
Jesus leadership style focuses on becoming the kind of person who wants to do the right thing for the right reason. Doing the right thing is predicated by the leaders worldview; therefore, Jesus was effective in this world because he was guided by the reality of another world. Our Lords leadership strategy is the consummate servant leadership style and is easily recognized in many biblical passages; not the least of which, are John 13:5-17, Matthew 22:34-40, and Philippians 2:1-11. Without a doubt, Christian Scripture corroborates Hulls thesis Jesus emphasized becoming the kind of person who wants to do the right thing with no ulterior motive. The challenge for all leaders is to ensure that their motive is genuine.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using Bill Hulls, The Christian Leader Rehabilitating our Addiction to Secular Leadership as a primary source, write an essay reflecting on Jesus leadership-development strategy to life and ministry. Items to include are outlined as follows:
