The PSA should have three main parts:1) primary focus – what is the PSA about?2) something to draw listener/reader/watcher in, a.k.a. a “hook”3) a call-to-action
Creativity is encouraged for this assignment! For this PSA, students should picka mode of delivery: radio hit, TV spot, poster, video, etc. Choosing a medium willhelp provide context for your PSA. We will review examples of PSAs in class.Students are expected to cite at least 2 academic sources in addition to theViolence on the Land report. One specific section of the course textbook can beused as one of the two academic sources. A Works Cited/Bibliography pageshould appear at the end of your assignment.
The PSA project will be graded using the following rubric:
