Policy Paper (50 pts) Due March 26, 2020 by 11:30pm: Each student will complete a policy paper that discusses social work practice as it relates to a particular law that has been passed. In completing this assignment, you will select one of the policies listed below, the student will research, explore & examine the policy, discuss who benefits from the policy, what was the intention or purpose of the policy, does the policy have some drawbacks? Flaws? Gaps? Discuss how the policy benefits the intended target population. Discuss advocacy behind getting the policy passed. This Policy Paper should be two pages in length, APA writing format, a cover page (not one of the counted 3-page requirement), reference page (also not one of the counted 2-page requirement).
