Write a short critical response paper (500 words) in which you explain what you have gotten out of this course as weve gone through these first chapters.
Think about the environmental, political, and personal ramifications of some of the theories that Jared Diamond puts forth. Compare some of this theories to some of the other readings.
Your essay is an opportunity for you to reflect on one or more key concepts through a close critical reading of one of more texts. You may wish to pursue a theoretical question in more detail in your critical response paper. You may wish to critique viewpoints of any of the authors we have discussed.
In short, take one or two readings and respond! Tell me what you think, and how this all fits into the bigger picture of society.
