The Research Project Self-Assessment presents you with 5 questions that require you to reflect on your progress in COMM1085. For each question, aim to write approximately 3 sentences in response. Responses that are brief, vague, or impersonal are likely to receive a lower score, and – of equal importance – these kinds of responses are less likely to provide you with insights that will help to guide you through the final stages of the Research Project.
All 5 questions will be scored according to the following rubric:
Effective and Meaningful 3 points-Response is thorough, thoughtful, clear, and specific.
Somewhat Effective and Meaningful 2 points-Response is generally reflective, but lacks some combination of depth, detail, and clarity.
Ineffective / Incomplete 1 point-Response fails to demonstrate that the student has thoughtfully considered the question and/or the status of their Research Project.
No Reflection Provided 0 points-Student has not responded to this question.
