Week 4 Current Event on America Ideals
-The American ideal I chose is Democracy.
Prior to the 2020 election, 29 states introduced bills that expanded voting rights. A few of the bills that were introduced include allowing former felons to have the right to vote again and making registration and absentee voting easier than in prior elections (Bergengruen,1). This effort attempts to protect Americans’ right to participate in our democracy by exercising their right to vote.
