Population, demographics, and characteristics in almost all areas of the US are changing – sometimes more rapidly than others. Pew Research has written a report that looks at rural – urban flow and issues (it is under your resources). This report was based on common questions and then the answers were divided according to rural, suburban, and urban place of residence.
After looking at the chapter and scanning the Pew Research report, find three examples of differences between rural and urban population responses to the questions that were asked and describe them. You can use the information from the narrative and from the charts.
After you list the differences, while we cannot know for certain, how might the differences be explained?
