In Packet tracer please design the network with the requirements below:
Each router needs to have its own subnet. There also needs to be VLANs across the entire infrastructure. Each Segment will have an assigned VLAN (see diagram) which is associated with each switch. Inter VLAN configuration is required in order to forward traffic from one VLAN to another VLAN. Use Static Routes or RIPv2. In addition to this the following must be configured below: 1) Hostnames for each device 2) Enable secret password (password MUST BE your firstname (lowercase)) 3) MOTD Example: Unauthorized access not permitted – Systems Admin [email protected] 4) Addresses will be provided from DHCP configuration from network switch as per your vLAN assignment from your professor please exclude ranges X.X.X.1 to X.X.X.205) Communication between nodes from different networks must be evident (PINGABLE) 6) TELNET / SSH configuration for your network switch & router 7) Administratively shut down ports 20-24 8) Configure a TFTP server for each network with a static IP address, make a backup of your configuration for your router and switch AFTER you’ve completed all the above. Please use the naming convention of the file name below: – Switch = Firstname-Switch HOSTNAME-KW Example: JAMIE-CONSW1-KW- Router = Firstname-Router HOSTNAME-KW Example: JAMIE-CONR1-KWR1 – Conestoga KWSE0/1/0 10.60.147.1 /? Evaluation Your evaluation will be held to the following rules and constraints. These rules are firm and are irrefutable. • Failure to submit this completed deliverable will result in a grade of zero (0) on this deliverable. o There will be no opportunity provided to make up for this missed deliverable or raise your grade. o In the instance that the failure to submit this work results in a grade of zero (0) that ultimately causes an overall course grade below fifty-five (55) then there will be no opportunity to perform any work, tests, activities or tasks to raise your grade above the failing mark. • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that their work has been submitted through eConestoga, ontime, to the correct course and in the correct folder. o If you submit your work to the incorrect folder then you may not receive any grade for your work. This will be completely up to the discretion of your Instructor. o If you, the student, submit your file to the wrong folder or course on eConestoga then you must simply resubmit to the correct folder. • To pass this course you are required to submit every single deliverable. o If you have failed to submit any work by the end of the course your Instructor reserves the right to assign a final course grade of incomplete (I) or failure (F) for your performance in the entire course.
